Who'd have thought a little laid back South Indian restaurant far far away from the city & from the fancy foodie world, would win itself 'A Hat' from The Age, Good Food Guide!

We are SO PROUD that our humble food & friendly hospitality has been recognised by Victoria's highest Food Awards. 'The Age Good Food Awards'.

We're so grateful to  of our staff for creating such a welcoming & friendly space & to the local kids who work for us, and staff members who travel from far to be in our team.

We're so grateful to our community who stand by us and made sure we survived Covid.

May our award inspire other husband / wife  teams & small operators , working out of marquees in their early days, in the rain, hail and stinking hot summer days.  Struggling but just giving it a bloody good go.

May the 'Food World' recognise that not all 'good food' comes from fine dining settings.

And that instead sometimes it comes to you on a metal plate, warmly handed to you with a big smile, whilst Kerala tunes play in the background.
